Ever since I was a child, I have loved writing. Whenever I put pen to paper, I feel like I’m plugging into a magical source, a place of plain, unfiltered truths. My journey leading to this moment began with writing from a stirring in my soul. These emotions within me transformed into words, the words joined, forming sentences, and eventually, a story was born. It could be called the story of me. It’s as easily the story of my journey. But most of all, it’s the story of powerful values that have led me to you today.

“Desert Flower Principles”

From the sands of the Kuwaiti desert blooms a flower. Its very existence represents defiance. But it isn’t defiance that allows the Rhanterium Epapposum or Arfaj flower to grow; it’s evolution. For mother nature demands the survival of the species. And this singular command to survive made the Arfaj plant adapt over time to everything in its environment, altering on a systemic level to withstand the harshest of terroirs. In fact, nature empowered the Arfaj to use the same elements that would destroy most other plant life to its advantage. And in the most unlikely of circumstances, the Arfaj blossoms with the vibrance of a vividly colored flower in a tropical rainforest.
In the metropolis of Kuwait City resides a woman. She was born in an environment that wasn’t ideally suited for the holistic flourishing of the human female. Yet like the Arfaj, she adapted to her surroundings, evolving over her lifetime to reach a state of existence in which she blossoms with irrepressible vitality, strength, and courage. Defying the odds, this woman is a testament to the wonder of nature’s dictate to survive. She’s living proof of the possibility to evolve, build, and rebuild when one attains a higher state of consciousness from being truly, wholly alive.
This human Arfaj flower goes by the name of Ghosson. She is me. And today I'm inviting you to step into an oasis I’ve built, a place where human beings thrive under any and every circumstance.
